High School Building

For students of our High School we have opened a new school building in Krakow-Kliny at 10 Pawel z Krosna St. It is located just 500 meters from the elementary school building located at 25 Kwiecista St.

The interiors of the building are decorated with the utmost care in the soft loft style – a mild form of industrial design. The interiors feature concrete, metal, glass, combined with light wood. The walls are painted in white, gray and black colors. Students can use drinking water fountains in the corridors.

The total area of the building is 1100 m2 and it includes the following rooms:

  • thematic classrooms (maths, physics, IT, languages: Polish, English, Spanish, etc.),
  • professionally equipped SCIENCE laboratory,
  • library,
  • separate common areas in the corridors with lockers for students,
  • locker room and toilets on each floor,
  • Chill Room – a large room with an area of 120 m2. This place will be decorated in a youth style so that every student feels comfortable here. It is equipped with stylish hammocks, sofas, benches, youth graphics, ping-pong table, billard, swings. With the sound of music, students can relax during breaks or after class.

There are also administration and principal’s offices, a meeting room, and a teachers’ room in the building.

For the comfort and health of our students and employees in the entire building there is a mechanical ventilation system with recuperation (heat recovery), providing fresh filtered air from the outside. This solution also reduces to a minimum the environmental load.

The building is equipped with alarm systems and video surveillance inside and outside the school.

Due to the safety of Open Future students, the building meets all the requirements for educational institutions. It has been positively assessed by the Lesser Poland Voivodeship Sanitary and Epidemiological Station and by the City Headquarters of the State Fire Service. During the school year, there are regularly conducted evacuation drills and test fire evacuations specified in the fire safety manual for this building.

Just behind the building there is a 30-acre plot of land where the school garden is arranged with designated alleys and benches among the nature. Students can use this green space during the lessons or breaks.
